Francois Martin is an independent Senior Graphic Industry Consultant and Digital Print Evangelist. Having spent 12 years with HP, Francois has gained considerable insight into the challenges print service providers face in today’s changing world, and has played an instrumental role in the ongoing growth of digital printing.
During his tenure at HP, he served as global head of marketing for the HP Graphics Solutions Business, encompassing packaging, commercial and large-format printing, and was the driving force behind HP’s growth throughout the graphics market with evolutions including the introduction of Latex and PageWide technologies. Prior to this, Francois held the role of EMEA Graphic Solutions Business Marketing Director from the creation of the HP Graphic Industry Business unit back in 2006, and worked two years for the Indigo division as worldwide business manager back in 2004.
Francois’s first role at HP, however, was in 1985, in the Imaging Printing Group, working with the first LaserJet, DeskJet, All-in-one, DesignJet and Colour LaserJet product ranges. His experience spans the fields of sales, marketing and distribution, with a focus on emerging businesses
