Content Velocity: InDesign Publish Online

The Future Skills Theatre
Future Skills Seminars

How difficult is it to produce content that is print-ready one minute and available digitally the next? Don’t you need to be a coding wizard to do that? How do we generate the same content for digital that we need to get onto the press? What about colour spaces? Where do I begin? Why should I care? So many questions, but perhaps the one you should be asking is, “How do I get started”?

This session with Adobe’s Specialist Solutions Consultant Tony Harmer, will demonstrate to you how getting a rich-media version of your print publication out into the digital world doesn’t involve any coding at all, and can be achieved with just a slight extension of your existing InDesign skills. You can grow your audience and generate enthusiasm for your coming publication by sneaking bits out into the digital world that can contain rich, interactive content that enhances the experience—it’s like having a trailer for your print version!

Learning Outcomes:

  • Learn about authoring for print and digital in the same document
  • Explore the possibilities of rich-content publishing
