As a respected voice and influencer in the Asian Flexographic industry, the Asian Flexographic Technical Association (AFTA) understands the latest packaging developments and issues faced in Asia.  Witnessing the exponential growth of the Asian packaging industry, the AFTA and AGA - Asian Gravure Association recognise the complexity and evolving needs of the Asian packagers. Thus, AFTA and AGA invite ALA - Asian Labelling Association, boosting the Asia packaging forum; bringing a more comprehensive overview into the concerns of packaging in Asia today.

The Printing Industry Pension Scheme

The Printing Industry Pension Scheme (PIPS)





The 2008 Pensions Bill sets down new responsibilities for all employers to automatically enrol all employees into a workplace pension scheme from October 2012.  Representatives from The Printing Industry Pension Scheme (PIPS) will be at Ipex 2010 to provide the relevant information and options to help employers comply with this new legislation.

The Malaysia Printers Association was established on 3rd September, 1986. It has a membership of approximately 500 members from various states of Malaysia. Graphic Arts Association of Hong Kong

The Graphic Arts Association of Hong Kong (GAAHK) was registered as a Non-Profit Organization in accordance to Hong Kong law in September 1983, and as a limited company under the Companies Ordinance.  As we all know, printing means the reproduction of graphic arts and wordings, so the founders of the association use this name which was a very pioneering move in the printing industry at that time.

The The Graphic Arts Services Association of Australia (GASAA) is an established business association for companies providing creative, multimedia, digital pre-press, data and print management services. In 1923 the association was Federally registered and it has changed its name and focus over the years to keep pace with the fast moving world of graphic communications.  Its mission statement is: “To provide excellence in service to members and representation of the graphic communications industry.”




Italian Printing & Paper Converting Industries Association

The Italian Printing and Paper Converting Industries Association (ASSOGRAFICI) was set up in 1946 by entrepreneurs of the printing, paper and board converting industries. Today Assografici has more than 1.000 printing and paper-converting member companies, with 1.300 production units, employing more than 50.000 employees and producing a turnover of around €8 millions.

According to its by-laws, Assografici’s main aims are  to provide member printing companies assistance, information and consultancy on a wide range of issues and aspects such as environment, economics, labour, tax etc. Assografici carries out its activities both on a national and international level.

North India Printers Association

  is the group of Printers' Association from the Northern part of India i.e. Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Chandigarh). NIPA is known to be the most active printers body in India. At NIPA our mission is to work as a bridge between the manufacturers/suppliers and the actual user industry. Punjab Print is the official journal of NIPA, Published six time in a year Punjab Print is the highest circulated printing journal  in the northern states of India. For one stop information about the Indian Printing and Packaging industry NIPA Directory is the one and only source. NIPA Directory is also known as the encyclopedia of Indian Printing industry.
 



Pakistan Association of Printing & Graphic Arts Industry

Since 1959 the Pakistan Association of Printing and Graphic Arts Industry (PAPGAI) was recognised by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of Pakistan.  PAPGAI has played a leading role for the betterment of the printing and graphic arts industry. Organizing seminars, workshops and exhibitions are some of the examples of PAPGAI's endeavor for providing training opportunities throughout the industry.

The objective of Fogra Graphic Technology Research Association is to undertake research into, to develop and to apply printing technology and to help the printing industry to use the results obtained. To this end the Association maintains its own institute, with a staff of 52 that includes engineers, chemists and physicists.

Fogra’s principal tasks concern research, development, transfer of know-how, development of standards and consultancy. Fogra’s departments include pre-press, printing processes, post-press including ID cards, materials, environment/chemistry and quality management.

Association of Latvian Printing Companies (LPUA)

LPUA

The Association of Latvian Printing Companies (LPUA) was officialy registred in 1997. Curently there are 49 members – printing houses, graphic art suppliers, paper merchants and graphic art school.

Since 1998 LPUA published in latvian Graphic Arts Magazine „IESPIEDGRAFIKA”. In 4 issues annually „Iespiedgrafika” covers art and industry, people and machines, events and Technologies.

The Madras Printers and Lithographers Association (MPLA)

 MPLA   The Madras Printers and Lithographers Association (MPLA) is one of the oldest Printing Associations in India. Established in 1952, we take active interest in the well being of the Printers in the region. We organise seminars, symposiums and technical training sessions either alone or by tying up with other allied organisations. We also deal with the government policies that are of interest to the Printing Industry and hold exhibitions once in four years.
We also release a monthly journal called Coramandal Printer for the benefit of the Printing Industry with all the latest trends in technology and the information needed for the units in the industry.
