Registering and my badge for IPEX - What do I need to know?
1. Who can attend?
IPEX is open to the general public.
2. How can I register for the show?
You can register to attend IPEX using the online registration form. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with your registration key and instructions on how to obtain your visitor badge.
3. I am a student. Am I able to attend the show?
Students over the age of 16 are welcome to attend IPEX. Students are required to register to attend via the normal registration process.

4. How do I register as a member of the press?
To register as a member of the press, you will need to register via the dedicated press registration page.
5. Can I bring children?
Due to safety regulations, no-one below the age of 15 is permitted to enter Hall 5. Children between the ages of 14 – 15 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
6. Is IPEX free to attend?
Yes, IPEX is a free-to-attend event.
7. Can I register on arrival at the show?
Yes, you can register on arrival. However, we strongly recommend pre-registering your visit to avoid the queues on the day.
8. I have registered to attend IPEX. When will I receive my visitor badge?
If you are from the UK and register before the 9 October 2017, your visitor badge will be sent to you in the post approximately 2 - 3 weeks before IPEX 2017. If your badge does not arrive, please following the steps below.
If you have registered after 9 October 2017 or you are visiting from outside of the UK, you will need to print your Personal Entrance Voucher and bring it with you on the day. Your Personal Entrance Voucher was attached to your registration confirmation email. Simply print out this voucher and use the FastTrack self service machines to scan the barcode for your entry badge. Alternatively, you can take your Personal Entrance Voucher to one of the registration desks. Please allow time for printing at the entrance.
If you cannot print your personal entrance voucher, please supply your surname at the registration desks.
9. Can I edit my registration details?
Yes. To edit your registration details, you will need your registration key. You can find this in the confirmation email that you received after registering. Visit the IPEX registration page and type in your registration key and click ‘Login’. After logging in, you can edit your registration details. If you would like your badge to be posted to you, all changes need to be made before the 9 October 2017. After this date, you will need to bring your Personal Entrance Voucher.
Please note: Your registration key will update when any changes are made to your registration details. Please make sure you are carrying your up-to-date registration key.
10. Is my registration for the show date specific?
Registration is non-date specific. Once you have registered, your entry badge is valid on any show day and can be used as many times as you wish between 31 Oct – 3 Nov 2017.
11. Where does my visitor badge allow me access to?
With your visitor badge, you can access all areas of the exhibition besides the press office and the Dscoop Theatre during members-only hours.
12. What if I have forgotten my badge when I arrive at the show?
Staff at the main registration desks will be able to find you by company name and/or surname on our database to re-print your entry badge. If you can, please provide proof of company name or surname via business card or confirmation email.
Venue, Travel and Accommodation

2. How do I get there?
The NEC is easily reached by train, plane or car.
Please visit our dedicated Travel page for more information including rail discounts with Virgin Trains.
3. Where do I park?
The NEC contains over 16,500 parking spaces, so you don’t need to worry about finding a spot. Once arriving at the NEC, please follow the signage for IPEX. You will be lead and directed to the appropriate place by NEC staff.

4. Where can I stay?
The NEC contains a spread of hotels within walking distance of Hall 5 where IPEX is taking place. Take advantage of HotelMap to find the best rates available for your stay.
5. Is there free WIFI at the venue?
There is free WiFi with increased 3G and 4G connectivity throughout the NEC.
6. What date/time does the show open?
The show opens on Tuesday 31st October at 10:00am.
Show opening times are as follows:
Tue 31 Oct. 10:00 - 17:30
Wed 1 Nov. 10:00 - 17:30
Thu 2 Nov. 10:00 - 17:30
Fri 3 Nov. 10:00 - 15:30
7. Is there a cloakroom?
Yes, there are cloakrooms available next to the entrance to Hall 5. The price is £1.00 per item. For safety and security reasons, overnight storage is not available.
8. How do I find my way around IPEX once I have arrived?
IPEX 2017 is conveniently located in Hall 5, with event guides and floor plans available at the entrance.
9. Is there an ATM?
ATMs are located throughout the NEC. Please follow the signage.
10. Are there accessibility facilities at the venue?
Both IPEX and the NEC are committed to making the event accessible for all visitors.

2. I’m exhibiting at IPEX and want to know the operational timeline for stand build. Who do I contact?
Upon signing, all exhibitors receive the Exhibitor Services Manual which contains all the relevant information and booking forms.

IPEX Content Programme
1. How many theatres are there?
There are three stages hosting a mixture of workshops, speakers, and presentations at IPEX 2017: The Centre Stage, The Future Skills Theatre (also hosting the Smart Directions Conference) and The Dscoop Theatre.

2. What can I expect from the conference programme at IPEX?
In addition to the exhibition, a unique content programme of presentations and workshops has been designed to appeal to printers, brands, and the manufacturing and supplier community. With four days of diverse content across three stages, visitors are sure to find a session that will inspire, entertain and improve business knowledge.
Sessions do not require pre-booking in advance (excluding Dscoop sessions).
3. Are the sessions free to attend?
Yes, all sessions are free-to-attend.
4. Are the sessions ticketed?
No. Sessions cannot be pre-booked and run on a first-come, first-served basis (excluding Dscoop sessions). All we advise is to arrive before the start time to avoid disappointment.
5. I am looking to attend a session by a particular speaker. Where can I find out about speakers at IPEX?
